Your payroll system
Certified payroll from the system you already run
None of the general payroll systems prints a WH-347 on its own, and two of them print one that still needs the header, the determination and a signature. Each page below says what your system exports, how every column lands on the form, and the two things you add by hand: the classification as the wage determination spells it, and how the fringe was paid.
- GustoGusto does not produce Form WH-347 or a Statement of Compliance.
- RUN Powered by ADPRUN Powered by ADP does not print a WH-347.
- Paychex FlexPaychex offers certified payroll reporting on some service plans and through its Points North integration, and every Paychex Flex account can export a payroll journal or a custom report with hours, rates, gross, federal withholding, Social Security and Medicare per employee.
- QuickBooks Online PayrollQuickBooks Online Payroll Premium and Elite include a certified payroll report (Reports, then Standard reports, search for certified payroll, pick the pay period and project, Download spreadsheet).
- QuickBooks Desktop PayrollQuickBooks Desktop Enhanced and Assisted Payroll include a Certified Payroll Report (Reports, then Employees & Payroll, then More Payroll Reports in Excel, then Certified Payroll Report) that fills an Excel WH-347 from a weekly payroll.
- Square PayrollSquare Payroll does not produce a WH-347.
- OnPayOnPay does not produce a WH-347, but its payroll register is the easiest export of the group to shape: add or remove columns, save the layout, export CSV for the week.
Using a spreadsheet instead? Certified payroll from Excel. A paper timesheet? Photograph it; the import reads names, hours and trades off the page.
